Do you know how many hours of your working day you spend together?
I’ll give you a few facts that might ring a bell:
1 – We spend a third of our working day in meetings.
2 – 7 out of 10 meetings are unproductive.
3 – We spend 4 hours a week on pre- and post-meeting tasks.
4 – It is estimated that by 2030 the conference market will have a volume of around $20 million.
My experience tells me that the tendency, especially in large companies, is to fill up with meetings that serve no purpose. Often without a clear plan and structure to define the objectives of these meetings.
