Suddenly, something catches your eye.
You’ve found a film that looks like you’re going to like. It is set in the not too distant future. You look, above all, at a factory. It is a smart factory.
What is this factory like? How do you imagine it?

Has encontrado una película que parece que te va a gustar. Está ambientada en un futuro no muy lejano. Te fijas, sobre todo, en una fábrica. Es una fábrica inteligente (o smart factory).

Everyone is talking about digital transformation.
You may even have had the feeling that you are starting to get a bit fed up with this concept.
It’s logical.
The truth is that this concept is the protagonist of countless headlines, talks, courses, and studies… And I often have the feeling that there is a certain infoxication (or what amounts to the same thing: information intoxication).
That is why I have recorded today’s video. Because I am one of those who think that less is more.

Todo el mundo habla de transformación digital.
Puede que hasta hayas tenido la sensación que empiezas a estar un poco harto de este concepto.
Es lógico.
Lo cierto es que este concepto es el protagonista de infinidad de titulares, charlas, cursos, estudios… Y a menudo tengo la sensación que existe cierta infoxicación (o lo que es lo mismo: intoxicación de información).
Por eso he grabado el vídeo de hoy. Porque yo soy de los que piensa que menos es más.

If there is one thing I have learned about Industry 4.0, it is that its adoption is neither as simple nor as quick as a snap of the fingers.
Any complex process such as this involves significant time and effort that must be taken into account.
What is certain is that the journey is just as satisfying, if not more so, than reaching the finish line.
Today I’ll tell you what this route is like and what stops you’ll find along the way. My advice is that when you start, try to enjoy the journey, I assure you it is worth it.
Si algo he aprendido de la Industria 4.0 es que su adopción no es ni tan sencilla ni tan rápida como un simple chasquido de dedos.
Todo proceso complejo como este conlleva un tiempo y un esfuerzo significativos que hay que tener en cuenta.
Lo que sí que es cierto es que el camino es tanto o más satisfactorio que la llegada a la meta.
Hoy te cuento cómo es este camino y qué paradas son las que te vas a encontrar. Mi consejo es que cuando empieces, trates de disfrutar del viaje, te aseguro que vale la pena.
When we talk about Industry 4.0 we inevitably think of data.
